My project was an idea in my mind and not much else. I had a number of companies express interest and they all had far better ideas than I could conceive. This made the job a bit bigger but so be it.

In the end, I chose Justice Construction. Not because they were the cheapest but because I got a lesson in what is required for a job such as mine and what I should be asking of the contractors bidding. Phill was up front and honest in his evaluation of the job and provided me tips and hints on what to ask to make sure I was getting a good final product.

I am extremely pleased with the job that was done. I was impressed with the professionalism, and in particular, the personal pride in the work his crew produced. They were fussy about the work and how it looked, it was their reputation and they took very good care of it. They were clean and made sure the rest of the house did not look like renovations were begin carried out.

They made suggestions on the fly for changes and better ways of getting the end result and made it clear there would be no additional charge for these changes.

In the end, the basement looks way better than I envisioned and could not be happier. Justice Construction will be my go to company for future work and I will happily recommend them to anyone that asks for a construction company.

We hired Justice in 2015 to tear down and rebuild the two-story front porch on out 100 yr. old Ottawa home. We contacted 3 separate contractors for quotes and of the 3 Justice’s was by far the most professional, clear and detailed. There was a professional contract drawn up that I appreciated, rather than the laissez-faire attitude of a lot of contractors.

Working to a design provided by a third party, they did the job within budget and timeframe to our complete satisfaction. The workmanship and attention to detail are excellent. they have a very good grasp of working on older houses. There were some minor problems that came up along the way, as you would expect of job of this magnitude on an old house, and all of these were acknowledged and resolved. Communication was on a daily basis via phone and email, with all decisions being confirmed by email. Very professional approach.

They handled the building inspector and all aspects of the job and recommended some changes that worked out better than the original design. They cleaned up on a daily basis and were respectful of our family and property.

I will definitely hire them again for out next project.

Having been in construction for thirty (30) years managing various commercial projects, it was indeed a pleasure to deal with such professionalism and quality. I highly recommend them for home renovations, etc. They truly are an all-around competent General Contractor which gets the job done without interruption, and also have very reasonable prices, with no surprises.
